During the week of our show, there will be a mandatory rehearsal(s). It is important to read the production material thoroughly and make sure that the decision to participate in the recital is right for you, and that you have the time set aside to participate. Recital tickets will be available (ticket sale price and date will be published in production packet). Seating will be assigned and tickets will be purchased at the BFF front desk.

Illness Policy:

As cold and flu season returns, and in light of COVID-19, BFF Dance will be following guidance from our local school district and San Diego County.

Do not send your child to dance if they are not feeling well for ANY REASON. We are happy to extend our make up policy beyond 30 Days upon request (all make ups must be made up within the 2020/21 dance year). Do NOT send your child to dance with: a fever above 99.9 degrees, persistent cough, runny nose, sore throat, shortness of breath, persistent headache, body aches, fatigue, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, new loss of smell or taste, OR if the dancer or ANYONE in your family has had close contact with a COVID-19 positive individual within the last 14 days.

Students with a temperature of 100 degrees or more and/or exhibiting/reporting COVID-19 symptoms while at BFF will be sent home. Those with a fever will not be readmitted to BFF Dance for at least 72 hours. We recommend testing or clearance from a doctor to return. Those with a confirmed case of COVID-19 will not be readmitted for a minimum of 10 week days.

If your child has a persistent cough UNRELATED to illness, we ask that he/she wear a mask during class. If your dancer has travelled by plane, we ask that your dancer wear a mask during class for the 10 days following your return.

We thank you tremendously for your adherence to the rules above.
